Predator Traps
Our range of predator traps are available in three models; DOC 150, DOC 200 and DOC 250. These are designed to humanely kill common pests, such as; ferrets, rats, stoats and hedgehogs. Produced with fully stainless steel plates or zinc , these ergonomically designed traps allow for ease of usability.
The DOC 200 trap that was designed by the Depart
ment of Conservation for killing stoats, hedgehogs and rats.
- This trap is a good quality DOC 200 trap that is used extensively throughout New Zealand for the control of rats stoats and hedgehogs.
- It is made of zinc coated steel with a stainless steel trigger plate.
- It needs to be placed in a wooden box to minimise the capture of native birds or pets, see the DOC trap boxes on this site.
- The DOC 200 has been demonstrated to kill humanely when tested under international standards.
