The Ka'ena Point Ecosystem Restoration Project is an integrated management and education effort to protect, preserve and restore the native environment of Ka'ena Point Natural Area Reserve for the benefit of future generations. A key component of the restoration project is the construction of an Xcluder® predator proof fence, which will be completed in late 2010.

The vision of the Shakespear Open Sanctuary is to use their 1.7km Xcluder ® fence to create an open and accessible wildlife sanctuary that integrates public recreation, conservation and farming. The Sanctuary is significant because it's location, at the end of Whangaparaoa peninsula, extends Tiritiri Matangi Island to the mainland.

Xcluder® has constructed a five kilometre fence around the perimeter of the 150 ha Wairakei International Golf Course. The two metre high Xcluder® fence was designed to prevent predators entering the property, providing effective golf course protection and allowing for a unique blending of recreation, restoration and conservation initiatives.

48km perimeter Xcluder® "Kiwi" fence around Maungatautari Mountain enclosing 3,400 ha of lowland Podocarp forest. This internationally significant project uses Xcluder® fencing on a scale never previously attempted, as the Maungatautari Ecological Island Trust restore to the forest a healthy diversity of indigenous plants and animals not seen in our lifetime.

3 km fence to protect a petrel colony from attack from feral cats and pigs. Constructed in a location that experiences extreme weather conditions and high exposure to salt spray. |
MAUNA LOA | HAWAII
Trials to test Xcluder® fences in Hawaiian conditions and against Hawaiian pests. Fence proved successful against mice, ship rats, feral cats, feral pigs, mongoose, and Mouflon sheep. Fence construction successfully modified to be effective on hard lava in corrosive air conditions.
